Pair from St. Catharines arrested in connection to Club 88 shooting

Niagara Regional Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a shooting that occurred last month at Club 88 in St. Catharines.

As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives identified two suspects believed to be responsible.

On Wednesday, May 7, officers executed search warrants at two residential properties in St. Catharines.

During the operation, 21-year-old LeBron Samuels was arrested and found to be in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

He now faces multiple charges related to both the firearm and the shooting incident.

Subsequently, on Thursday, May 22, a search warrant was carried out at a residence in Barrie.

Police arrested 18-year-old Taeshawn Joseph of St. Catharines, who is also facing several criminal charges in connection to the case.
