Environment Canada has issued an orange severe thunderstorm watch.
Wednesday afternoon could bring damaging winds up to 110 kilometres an hour, large hail and rainfall totals of up to 50mm.
The weather authority says tornados could also be possible. Thunderstorms are expected to develop mid to late this afternoon along and ahead of an advancing cold front.
You're reminded to always take cover if you see threatening weather approaching.
