Paid opportunities to help with polling locations
Niagara residents are being reminded the 2026 municipal election is coming up this fall. On Monday, Oct. 26, voters will choose their local mayor, councillors and school board trustees.
Municipalities across Niagara are now looking for election officials to help during advance voting and on Election Day.
Officials say it’s a paid opportunity to get involved in the community and support the democratic process.
The Region, local municipalities and school boards are also recruiting experienced professionals to join the 2026-2030 Niagara Election Compliance Audit Committee, which reviews requests for audits of campaign finances.
