Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision on the QEW in Hamilton.
Police say just after midnight Sunday, an elderly man was walking in the Fort Erie-bound lanes near Fruitland Road in Stoney Creek when he was struck by at least one vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe multiple vehicles may have hit the man, with one possibly being a Honda that left the area and may have damage to the front driver’s side.
OPP say foul play is not suspected, but they are asking any drivers who travelled through the area around the time of the collision to contact investigators.
