OPP charge St. Catharines woman in connection to fatal winter crash on Highway 406

A St. Catharines woman is facing criminal driving charges in connection with a fatal crash on Highway 406 last December. 

The OPP says the vehicle lost control and rolled into the centre ditch near Third Avenue, killing an 18-year-old Thorold woman who was ejected from the vehicle. 

A 19-year-old St. Catharines woman has now been charged with dangerous operation causing death and dangerous operation causing bodily harm. 

She’s been released from custody and is due in court in St. Catharines on October 19.
