Operation Smooth Roads is rolling out across Niagara Falls, with crews working on a multi-year plan to upgrade and repair local roads.
The work is guided by road condition data, targeting the areas that need the most attention.
This summer, that means more construction activity across the city, including on Portage Road between Morrison Street and Thorold Stone Road.
Officials say local businesses in the area remain open and accessible, and residents are being encouraged to continue supporting them.
