New inter-provincial agreement will help open access

Niagara-area shoppers will soon have more Canadian choices when ordering beer, wine, cider and spirits.

Ontario has joined eight other provinces in a new direct-to-consumer alcohol agreement.

Approved producers will be able to sell online and ship directly to homes.

That means local customers can explore more Canadian-made products without travelling or relying only on what is stocked locally.
