Ontario is looking at a deficit of nearly $17-billion.
That's according to a fall economic statement released by Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy, who cites global uncertainty and trade disruptions as key factors in the increased deficit.
During the spring budget earlier this year, the projected deficit was $13.8-billion.
The province has said it expects a balanced budget in 2029-2030.
