One arrested, four at large after home invasion in St. Catharines

A man has been arrested while four others remain at large following a home invasion in St. Catharines.

Niagara Regional Police say five masked suspects armed with firearms broke into a home near Lake Street and Welland Avenue early Friday morning after arriving in a stolen Acura TLX.

Investigators say four suspects forced their way inside and stole personal belongings from the victims before officers arrived. Police say the stolen vehicle then rammed two cruisers, and four of the suspects fled the scene on foot.
