Port Dalhousie’s newest gathering space is getting its official name.
The City of St. Catharines will hold a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon for Old Lock One Commons at 45 Lakeport Road.
Mayor Mat Siscoe will be on hand as new signage is unveiled for the outdoor community and event space.
The name was chosen through a public engagement campaign that drew 209 suggestions, with Old Lock One Commons earning the most votes.
