
The Ontario Provincial Police’s Niagara detachment is investigating multiple dangerous incidents involving rocks being deliberately thrown at vehicles traveling on regional highways.
Reports have come in from several locations, including Highway 406 between Westchester Avenue and Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines, the QEW near Mountain Road in Niagara Falls, and Highway 58 near Pine Street in Thorold.
Police are urging drivers to remain vigilant while travelling in these areas. If your vehicle is struck, or if you witness rocks being thrown, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to contact the Niagara OPP.
