Niagara Regional Police are warning the public after a fraud incident in Pelham involving a fake bank call.
Officers say a resident was contacted by someone claiming their credit cards had been compromised and that a courier would pick them up.
A man later arrived at the home, collected the cards and left in a white SUV.
The victim later realized it was a scam and contacted police.
The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks, wearing dark clothing and a face covering.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
