NRPS to take part in annual International Law Enforcement Tug of War

The Niagara Regional Police Service will take part in the 58th annual International Law Enforcement Tug of War this weekend.

The event takes place Saturday on the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, where NRPS men’s and women’s teams will compete against U.S. law enforcement in a long-standing cross-border tradition.

Festivities begin at 1:45 p.m. with a parade down Clifton Hill, followed by the tug of war at 2 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, but spectators heading onto the bridge will need a valid passport or NEXUS card.
