Niagara Regional Police says over 400 vehicles were stopped during RIDE checks this weekend.
On Friday, officers tested 21 drivers for alcohol and drug impairment, with one person arrested for refusing a breath sample.
That driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for a week.
Police also issued 20 tickets for various traffic offences as part of their ongoing effort to reduce impaired driving.
