NRPS says no Iran-related threats in Niagara, increasing patrols out of caution

Niagara's Police Chief says there's no threats to the region in connection to conflict in Iran.

Chief Bill Fordy released the statement Tuesday, just days after the US and Israel struck Iran, resulting in retaliation.

Out of an abundance of caution, Fordy says the force has increased visible patrols in key areas, including places of worship and community spaces to provide reassurance and maintain public safety.
