Residents are being invited to help plant 600 native trees and shrubs in Stevensville this weekend.
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, Town of Fort Erie staff and community volunteers are teaming up for TD Tree Days on Saturday at Ott Road Park.
The free event aims to create greener spaces and improve wildlife habitat.
No experience is needed, and gardening gloves, water and light refreshments will be provided.
Participants are asked to dress for the weather, wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear and watch for wasps and ticks.
