With lots of rain expected this weekend, we could see some flooding in the Niagara Region.
Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Outlook statement for the area, as up to 30mm of rain is expected this weekend, along with snow melt.
The NPCA says flooding could be seen in low-lying areas that are typically flood-prone, and are urging residents to stay away from creeks, rivers and other waterbodies because of slippery slopes and elevated water levels.
The outlook statement will be in effect until at least Monday.
