The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake has appointed John Henricks as Interim Director of Planning, Building and Development Services, effective November 19.
His appointment follows the resignation of current Director Kirsten McCauley, with recruitment for a permanent replacement now underway.
Henricks brings more than four decades of professional planning experience, including a previous term with the Town from 2012 to 2016.
He has worked extensively on municipal, private-sector, and tourism-related projects and most recently led NPG Planning Solutions Inc. He will support the department on a contract basis until a new director is hired.
