Niagara-on-the-Lake Council has released the first draft of its updated Official Plan for public and agency feedback.
The plan aims to manage growth responsibly, preserve the town’s cultural and environmental heritage, and align with regional and provincial policies.
Some sections and maps are still being updated to reflect other Town plans and ongoing Indigenous consultation.
Residents are encouraged to review the draft and share input online, with public engagement continuing through August and September.
Open houses and a statutory meeting are set for Fall 2025.
