The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake says it’s aware of strong community interest surrounding the possible temporary closure of the pickleball courts at Virgil Sports Park.
Council has directed staff to keep the courts closed for the 2026 outdoor season and to identify alternative outdoor options for pickleball players.
The recommendation will go to Council for final approval on February 24, with further updates to be shared once legally permitted.
