The cause of a fire at an apartment building in Welland is still under investigation.
Welland Fire and Emergency Services responded to the 8th floor of a building on Lancaster Street around 8:30pm Monday evening, after heavy smoke and flames were seen from the balcony.
Officials say there were no injuries to any residents or firefighters, while damage is estimated to be between the $150,000 to $200,000 range.
Crews from Pelham were also called in to assist.
