Niagara Region introduces new substance abuse strategy

Niagara Region has introduced a new Community Substance Use Strategy aimed at reducing the harms associated with substance use.

Presented to Regional Council earlier this month, the Strategy lays out a four-year plan focused on prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and community safety.

Developed through extensive community engagement, it will guide collaboration among local health and social service partners to better support residents affected by substance use.
