A Niagara Falls driver is facing stunt driving charges after Niagara Parks Police say they were caught speeding more than 70 kilometres over the limit.
Officers were conducting speed enforcement on the Niagara River Parkway near Murray Street early Monday morning when they clocked the vehicle at 63 kilometres an hour in a posted 40 zone.
Police say the driver continued southbound, eventually reaching 112 kilometres an hour in the 40 zone, before being pulled over.
The vehicle was impounded for 14 days, while the driver's licence was suspended for 30 days.
