Niagara Parks is collaborating with Niagara College to bring a taste of history to Old Fort Erie this month.
They will be hosting 'History on Tap', a unique event at the old stone fort, with costumed interpreters sharing stories of beer rations and military life during the War of 1812.
Beverages for the event wil be produced by students from Niagara College's Teaching Brewery and Winery, and paired with food selections prepared by Niagara Parks' culinary team.
The event takes place October 24th and will also feature black-powder demonstrations along with live music from Celtic Rock Band, The O'Deadly's.
