Niagara Regional Police have arrested a man following a series of disturbing incidents across Grimsby, St. Catharines, and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Over three days, officers received multiple reports of a male committing indecent acts and harassing women.
The investigation revealed he had approached several women at a Grimsby liquor store, making sexual gestures and comments.
In St. Catharines, a female clerk at a cannabis store was assaulted, and in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a male employee at a farm was struck with a thrown water bottle.
Detectives later identified and arrested 58-year-old Kenneth Bettes of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
He has been charged with criminal harassment, assault, indecent act, and assault with a weapon.
