The City of Niagara Falls is celebrating provincial recognition after a major infrastructure planning project received an Award of Distinction at the 2026 Ontario Engineering Project Awards.
The honour was presented to Aspire Consulting Group in partnership with the City and Hemson Consulting for work on Niagara Falls’ asset management planning and financial strategy.
The project tackled a $414 million infrastructure funding gap and created a 10-year investment plan worth more than one billion dollars.
City officials say the strategy will help maintain essential municipal services while supporting future growth.
