Niagara Falls to shut off lights for Earth Hour Saturday evening

Since 2007, millions of people across the world have taken part in Earth Hour, including locally in the Niagara region.

Community Development Coordinator for the City of Niagara Falls Jeff Guarasci says it would be great to see lots of locals taking part.

Guarasci is encouraging residents throughout the region to take part by shutting off any non-essential lights, which can include lights for rooms that nobody is in.
