Police warning suspects could be armed and dangerous
Detectives now believe a pair of Niagara Falls murder suspects may be in Hastings.
Niagara Regional Police have been searching for 23-year-old Maroof Bangi and 30-year-old Josta MacNeal since last Thursday, when 35-year-old Mitchell Snoddon was shot and killed at a home in the falls.
In a recent development, police say they believe the pair are now in a white 2016 Toyota Camry that was last seen on Highway 45. The vehicle has Ontario license plate DFWX808, damage on the passenger side doors, LED headlights and a large crack on the front driver side bumper.
Bangi and MacNeal were previously believed to be driving a Nissan Rogue, which was recovered by police, and then a Mazda SUV before the current Toyota sedan. Police also believe they may attempt to alter their appearance including changing their hair length, facial hair, makeup and clothing.
If seen, police ask that you don't approach the pair as they're considered armed and dangerous, and to instead call 911 immediately. Members of the community who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
