A new residential hospice could be coming to Niagara Falls, helping fill a long-standing gap in end-of-life care.
It’s called Millie’s Place, and the proposed site is on Montrose Road, just north of the South Niagara Hospital, on land donated by Empire Homes.
The City of Niagara Falls would own the facility, while Hotel Dieu Shaver would operate it and provide care.
The proposal is now before the province, with approval and operating funding still needed.
