Niagara College officially launched its Fall 2025 term on September 2, welcoming thousands of new and returning students to Orientation at both the Welland Campus and the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This year’s intake includes the College’s largest group of domestic students since 2019.
At the same time, the College continues to navigate challenges tied to federal changes in Canada’s international student program, which have impacted enrolments across the country.
To support a smooth transition into college life, NC has organized six weeks of Orientation activities, ranging from campus tours and student services fairs to networking sessions and social events designed to build connections from the start.
Meanwhile, significant investments in campus infrastructure are underway.
At the Welland Campus, site work has begun for a 75,000-square-foot Health Expansion, which will enable NC to train an additional 800 healthcare professionals.
Later this fall, construction will also begin on a new student residence, further strengthening support for growing enrolment and the overall student experience.
