Niagara College adding new Defence Systems Engineering programs

Niagara College is launching new Defence Systems Engineering programs that will give students hands-on experience building drones, instrument payloads, and autonomous systems for careers in defence, aerospace, security, and emerging technologies.

The two- and three-year programs focus on mechatronic and photonic systems used in aerial, terrestrial, and marine drones, aligning with increased federal defence investment and growing demand for Canadian-made technologies.

The programs build on Niagara College’s 25 years of leadership in photonics education and are now accepting applications.
