Enrolment expected to exceed 23,000 students this year
The Niagara Catholic District School Board has approved a balanced $346 million budget for the 2025-2026 school year, up from $318 million the previous year.
The budget was finalized at last week's board meeting and reflects projected enrolment growth to over 23,000 students.
Developed with input from parents, staff, trustees, students, and community members, the budget prioritizes student achievement, equity, and well-being amid rising costs.
Key investments include enhanced classroom technology, additional special education staff, and more teachers to meet student needs. With these strategic allocations, the Board aims to ensure a strong, successful school year ahead.
