A new elementary school is coming to Fort Erie as part of a $78.1 million provincial investment in school construction projects across Niagara.
The South-Central Fort Erie Elementary School will create 513 new student spaces and 49 licensed child care spaces as the province looks to support growing communities in the region.
Ontario says the project is part of a broader investment to build modern learning spaces and prepare students for in-demand careers.
The funding announcement also includes additions at Glynn A. Green Public School in Pelham, Oakwood Public School in Port Colborne, and Greater Fort Erie Secondary School.
