New Fort Erie community garden officially opening this week

Fort Erie’s first-ever community garden is officially open and ready to grow.

The new space on Central Avenue beside the railway museum will be operated by COPE and the Fort Erie Public Library, helping provide fresh vegetables for local programs and families in need.

The garden includes raised beds, water access, parking and nearby transit service.

Sponsors will be recognized during the first official planting May 25th.
