Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara is set to reopen its Nearly New Thrift Store after being closed for several months due to water damage.
The longtime Queen Street shop in Niagara Falls shut down in late February following significant damage, disrupting the organization’s only social enterprise and steady source of revenue.
Officials say the closure created major financial challenges while repairs were completed.
A grand reopening is planned for next Thursday, with donations of gently used items now being accepted to help restock the store.
From 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m., shoppers can enjoy 30% off the entire store, and a chance to win a $50 Nearly New Thrift Store gift certificate.
