Niagara Catholic Distrcit School Board has named Giancarlo Vetrone as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer.
Trustees approved the appointment during a special board meeting Tuesday, making the move effective immediately.
Vetrone had been serving as Interim Director of Education since late May after more than a decade with the board.
He says he's honoured by the opportunity and looks forward to supporting students, staff and families while building on Niagara Catholic's legacy.
