Municipalities urging online and in-person payment during Canada Post strike

With the Canadian Union of Postal Workers on strike, Niagara residents are reminded to use alternative methods for bills and payments.

During the work stoppage, Canada Post will not process or deliver mail, some post offices will close, and no new mail will be accepted.

To avoid delays, residents are encouraged to sign up for paperless billing and use the many online and in-person options available to pay property taxes, water bills, and parking fines.

Payments must still be made on time, and late penalties will apply.

Full details are available on each Township’s website.
