Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates is renewing his call for an investigation into the welfare of Marineland’s animals following the death of another beluga whale this week.
Gates first called for an investigation in July, but says the Ford government has yet to explain what inspectors knew or release its animal welfare findings.
He says it’s disturbing that medical findings have been released by international aquariums, while Ontario continues to withhold its own inspection results.
