Therapy Tails Ontario is a non-profit charity whose dog therapy program continues to make a meaningful impact in communities across the province.
The organization has established a strong and professional presence in Ontario’s volunteer sector, delivering results through a network of dedicated volunteers and their trained therapy dogs.
Built on the belief that helping others for the right reasons leads to success, Therapy Tails Ontario teams visit community spaces to offer comfort, companionship, and support.
CEO of Therapy Tails, Lisa Russo says volunteers and their dogs spend time listening, engaging, and mentoring those they meet.
The group is also active in a range of outreach initiatives, supporting diverse programs that aim to improve well-being and bring moments of connection to people in need.
Through these visits, the organization helps brighten lives, with many recipients expressing appreciation for the time and care provided. Volunteers say the experience is mutually rewarding, bringing joy not only to those they visit, but also to the teams themselves.
In the coming months, Therapy Tails Ontario members will be visible throughout the province, taking part in visits as well as parades, community events, and charitable activities.
The organization also partners with other groups to support a variety of causes, continuing its mission to make a positive difference, one visit at a time.
