McRae cleans up, PM Carney makes appearance and RUSH surprises with performance at JUNOs

Tate McRae won four awards at the Junos last night including Artist, Single and Album of the Year but the show was really more about the people who showed up for Canada's biggest night in music.

Joni Mitchell received the Lifetime Achievement Award, delivered by the Prime Minister himself, Nelly Furtado was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and Rush kicked off the show with a historic performance.

It's the first time the group has played publicly with new drummer Anika Nilles since the death of Neil Peart in 2020.
