Women and allies from across Niagara are planning to march the streets tomorrow to celebrate International Women's Day.
The event, dubbed Marching for Equality, invites all to attend starting at 11:00am at Niagara Region Headquarters in Thorold, with participants urged to wear purple, bring a sign, and dress for the weather.
Organizers say this march is a bold and visible commitment to ensuring women’s voices are heard and represented at every level of decision-making.
