The Town of Lincoln is working with three agencies to help flood-affected residents with cleanup.
Team Rubicon, Samaritan’s Purse and Mennonite Disaster Service are helping remove damaged materials and clean up inside homes.
Residents are asked to fill out the form at lincoln.ca/flooding so their needs can be assessed. Requests will be reviewed based on the level of damage and available resources.
Residents selected for assistance will be contacted directly to arrange an assessment.
Meantime, Team Rubicon has arrived in St. Catharines to help residents recover from the recent flooding.
The Ontario Corps partner began deploying volunteers Tuesday to remove flood-damaged flooring, drywall, debris and other materials.
The work will be done at no cost, with a focus on vulnerable residents, people without insurance and those with low incomes.
Team Rubicon will contact residents on the City’s Vulnerable Assistance Registry to arrange assessments and schedule the cleanup.
Volunteers will be easily identified by their grey shirts and Team Rubicon branding.
