In the wake of Regional Chair Bob Gale's resignation, an acting chair has been named.
Lincoln Councillor Rob Foster will be the first regional councillor to serve as acting chair, and will do so for the rest of March.
The region's bylaw means there will be a rotating list of acting chairs, comprised of regional councillors.
The region says it will continue to work with the province on any next steps and actions related to the Office of the Regional Chair.
