Light of Day Festival returning to Niagara after three-year hiatus

Light of Day Canada is returning to Niagara this fall, bringing a powerful night of music and fundraising back to the region after a farewell three years ago.

The Light of Day Canada Benefit Concert for Parkinson’s and Cancer Research and Care will take place November 7, 2026 at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines.

Headlining the show is hometown country-rock artist Tim Hicks, joined by a lineup that includes Steven Page, Teenage Head, The Miss Emily Band, Stephen Stanley & NoElectric, Evan Rotella Band, Astrid Young, Gravely James and Samantha Ava, with additional guests to be announced.

Founded in 2007 with grassroots shows in Niagara Falls and Toronto, the Canadian arm of Light of Day grew into one of the organization’s most successful markets, at one point hosting its highest-attended concert outside of New Jersey.

The global Light of Day Foundation began in 1998 as a birthday fundraiser for music industry veteran Bob Benjamin following his Parkinson’s diagnosis and has since raised more than $8.5 million to support research and care for Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses.

Organizers say the Niagara return was driven by overwhelming fan support, turning renewed community demand into what promises to be another impactful night of music and purpose.
