The Liberal Party of Canada have swept three federal byelections in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, flipping the Quebec riding from Conservative and keeping the other two in Liberal hands.
The wins mean the Liberals are ensured to keep their majority government as six other byelections are expected in the coming months.
The races were a crucial test for the Carney government in the midst of the trade war with the U.S.
