Donation will help feed local families
Port Cares has received a $10,000 donation from Leon's Furniture Limited to help support programs at the Reach Out Centre in Port Colborne.
The gift, presented by Leon's Chairman Terry Leon, will help fund services including school lunch kits, hot meal programs and emergency food support.
Port Cares says the donation comes as demand for its services continues to grow.
Officials say the support will help ensure individuals and families facing difficult times can continue to access the help they need.
