Start Me Up Niagara has announced a change in leadership as the organization celebrates 25 years of service.
Executive Director Laura Dumas, who has guided the agency for nearly five years, will be stepping down.
Taking her place on October 14 is Kelly-Ann Salerno, a seasoned leader with more than three decades of experience in housing, homelessness, and poverty reduction.
Salerno has held senior roles with the Regions of Peel and Waterloo.
Her collaborative, data-driven leadership has also advanced services for women, gender-diverse individuals, and people needing mental health and addiction supports.
