Investigation leads to charges in fatal Pelham motorcycle crash

Niagara Regional Police have laid charges in connection with a deadly collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Pelham.

The April 27th crash occurred on Highway 20 west of Maple Street and involved a minivan and two motorcycles.

Police say a 30-year-old man from Port Colborne died at the scene, while another motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, a 19-year-old Port Colborne man is charged with careless driving causing death. 

A 27-year-old woman from West Lincoln is also facing Highway Traffic Act and insurance-related offences. Police continue to ask anyone with information to come forward.
