As the Niagara IceDogs get ready for OHL Rivalry Week against the Erie Otters, one of the newest members of the team is already feeling comfortable in his new team.
Wil McFadden came to the IceDogs over the offseason as part of the trade that sent Ryan Roobroeck to the Guelph Storm - and hasn't wasted any time making an impact. McFadden has 7 points in 7 games to open his season, after notching a career high 41 points last year.
He says he's loved his time in Niagara so far.
Coming into this weekend, the IceDogs sit fifth in the OHL's Eastern Conference with a 6-4-1 record, just two points back of the Sudbury Wolves for first in the Central Division.
McFadden says they started the season with a fire lit under them.
You can hear every second of IceDogs action this season on Niagara's New Country 89.1 with Reece Doumani on the call.
