Friday the 13th came early as the IceDogs were edged 2-1 by visiting Kingston Thursday night.
A close checking affair featured a single goal per period with the Frontenacs taking a lead into the first intermission with both teams recording 6 shots.
The middle period saw the IceDogs take over with a number of chances among their 16 shots, Jakub Chromiak scored on the power-play to even the count. His 10th of the year was assisted by Riley Patterson and Ryerson Edgar.
In the third a tough break power-play goal proved to be the difference in a match where the IceDogs outshot Kingston 29-21. Vladislav Yermolenko was called on several times to make tough stops.
